Golf courses in Burgenland

Above all, it is the 300 days of sunshine a year that make it possible to play in Burgenland from the beginning of March to December.

Reiters Golf 72 in southern Burgenland includes the golf courses in Bad Tatzmannsdorf and Stegersbach. The facilities are excellently equipped, in addition to championship courses, golfers can also expect practice facilities, such as Austria's largest driving range in Bad Tatzmannsdorf. Partially heated tee huts allow teeing off in any weather, thanks to the floodlight system you can play into the evening hours. Whether it's a leisurely round of golf or professional games, Bad Tatzmannsdorf offers the ideal backdrop. Professionals try to help beginners and advanced players and even have good tips for experienced players.

There is also a golf area in Stegersbach that combines different levels of difficulty and thus ensures an unforgettable experience. In addition to the perfect tee, you should also find time to look at the panorama, because the golf course is located in one of the most beautiful corners of southern Burgenland. Whether it's challenging moves or fun with the family - everyone will find what they are looking for here!

Between the meadows of the Feistritz and Lafnitz there is even a 27-hole championship course in the Loipersdorf spa golf course, which offers sporting challenges for golf beginners and good handicappers alike.

REITERS GOLF 45 STEGERSBACH

Enormous 45 holes, magnificent hotels and a lot of area: Reiters Golf Stegersbach with its 45 holes is Austria's most lavish golf course. The 18-hole "Panorama course" and a 9-hole course start from the "Eulenwirt" clubhouse, while the first tee of the "Südburgenland course" is in front of the Reiters Resort Stegersbach.

The fairways of all courses in the resort gently adapt to the gentle hills all around and thus ensure fitness-enhancing rounds if you do without the cart. If you prefer to take it easy and use the motorized vehicle, you can concentrate better on the attractive area.

Incidentally, the entire area extends over an enormous 190 hectares and leads in a sensitive course layout over hills, streams, through valleys and forests. Driving on the fairways with carts is permitted (depending on the weather and in compliance with the information boards). A big plus is the large number of top hotels all around, all of which shout “holidays” loudly.

THERMAL GOLF COURSE LOIPERSDORF

Embedded in the meadows of the Feistritz and Lafnitz lies the Loipersdorf thermal golf course. Due to Pannonian climatic influences, the summer game season in Loispersdorf usually begins at the beginning of March and only ends in December.

The thermal golf course, a 27-hole championship course, blends harmoniously into the natural river meadows on the border between Styria and Burgenland. The thermal golf course offers enough sporting challenge for good handicappers as well as for golf beginners.

In the clubhouse, guests and members will find enough space in the spacious cloakrooms and caddy rooms.
